For me, the message of Easter is that:
After death there can be new rebirth
After the worst pain and suffering there can be new life, in another form.
Terrible things occur in this world, terrible things are inflicted by humans on other humans; but there is always hope:
Whatever has happened to you, it is possible to heal, to transform, to rise again out of pain and suffering to new life and light. Believe this, turn your face towards the light and create this reality.
The pain, suffering and injustice that has occurred is not in vain: every day people who are part of this wake up and resolve to change, to do better, to be more loving, to find a better way. Every day millions of people do something to make this world a better place for everyone.
You can be part of this dream: kinder, more generous, more easy going, more compassionate, more relaxed, more willing to co-exist in harmony and peace.
Every moment of this life is a treasure house of possibility. This Easter, witness and acknowledge the painful realities of life around you. Offer some time in prayer, meditation and positive intention for these things to change and heal. Enjoy happy times with your loved ones and celebrate the warmth of your connection and the blessings of all the good things in your life. If you need to find some, just go outside and look, really look at the natural world around you: experience the aliveness, beauty and possibilities of it all. Endless interactions, creations, growing, blossoming, expressing and living is going on all around you and from the tiniest flower to the greatest sky-wide expression of weather, everything has its own beauty and magnificence.
In the vast immensity of space and time, you exist, you are part of everything and everything is part of you. Choose where to place your attention and where and how to live vibrantly from this day forward.
The meanings of signs and intuitions aren’t always obvious;
take the time to explore deeper and they can be uncovered…
Have you ever put a question out into the universal energy field and then watched and waited for signs or intuitions to appear, bringing you the answer?
~ ~ ~
If you have, you’ve probably noticed that signs sometimes turn up in the strangest ways, or through the most unusual series of synchronicities. A website error (on a site I use, but not my own) somehow caused a couple of paragraphs of text to be inserted into my own writings. When I visited the website, the ‘foreign’ text naturally caught my attention, so I read it…
The writing was strangely compelling, but the meaning not immediately clear. This is often the case with signs – you notice them, your attention is drawn to them and you ‘know’ they are significant. The challenge, however, is to interpret the signs correctly, as the meaning may not be the ‘obvious’ one that comes first to mind…
~ ~ ~
This issue has come up several times recently, when I have been working 1 to 1 with clients in soul coaching and mentoring sessions. So much so, that it may be a sign (another way they appear, the frequency gradually drawing attention and the meaning becoming more evident), that this will also be useful to some of you:
The way it appeared for my recent clients, was that they took a Sign to mean that they should pursue that course of enquiry or action. When we explored further, checking this with the client’s character, values, ethics and intended path or direction in life, we found something quite different:
The ‘sign’ or opportunity was not answering their positive question or intention – instead it was answering the craving of their fears.
So, for example, suppose you want to follow some lovely, creative, healing path and you ask for signs, help and guidance for which way to go. This is your aspiration and dream. At the same time, you are concerned because you need to earn money to pay the bills. So now a job opportunity comes up, in your old line of work, or doing something that does not suit you, but it would pay the bills; maybe it would even pay well.
How do you read the sign? What do you decide to do?
~ ~ ~
It is often easy to jump to an ‘obvious’ conclusion, such as: this sign means I should do or pursue this thing. In this case, maybe this job has arisen to provide me with financial security, or to let me save up and follow my path again later on. But think a moment. Sometimes signs appear as a reminder of where NOT to go, i.e. they test your resolve. So the apparent job opportunity may be something you should turn down if it takes you off course – even though your financial insecurities mean that you feel you ‘should’ take it.
Each case is different; there is no one solution for everyone and this is why 1 to 1 soul coaching and mentoring is often so helpful. You get help and support to stop you wasting any precious time and energy down false trails and long-winded detours, and to make sure that you stay on track on the beautiful golden path of your dreams. We are only here, in this life for a brief instant, after all.
~ ~ ~
I put thoughts, intentions and questions out into the universal energy field all the time as a matter of course, since (for me, with practice) it is such a reliable way of gaining insights, information and often practical help.
Even so, I take these recent experiences as reminders for myself, to keep practicing and fine tuning, to look deeper and to make sure I have understood the deeper meanings.
This practice definitely encourages creativity and lateral thinking and strengthens the inner sense of intuitive knowing. Furthermore, it can become a way of being in constant flow of communication and interaction with the natural world around you.
And this brings me to the most essential part of this message: when you ask and receive, do remember to say ‘thank you’.

Relationships come under extra stress during holidays, so I was thinking about this over Christmas and New Year and wanted to share this with you much earlier in January.
I’ve been hoping to lay the stones out again and take a clearer picture, but I’ve been so busy with other healing layouts and constellations throughout January, that I just haven’t had the chance. The stones are in constant use and every available surface is covered!
This layout was specifically intended to heal negative and unhelpful family patterns and interactions and to help all involved to move to more positive and harmonious ways of relating. It was created for a specific family and situation, but via sympathetic resonance it can help other families and relationships too.
If you feel that you and your family need such healing, all you need to do is to focus on this image of the stones and sincerely ask or pray for help to resolve your family (or other relationship) conflicts for the ‘highest good’ of all concerned.
Be ready to do your best to act in new and positive ways. Be prepared for things to start shifting and changing and when they do, ask or pray for help and spiritual guidance to help you to find new ways of responding, being and acting positively to create new and healthier patterns for yourself for the future.

The small supportive layout of 5 stones in the second picture is intended to bring in positive outside influences to promote balance and heart healing, and to give extra support and strength to the person who needs it the most in the family / relationship network.

Much Tarot energy about today, as Phil prepares to teach his Tarot workshop tomorrow. This is a healing Tarot from a week or so ago – it would be interesting to know whether any of you can sense what kind of issue this is working on?
If you need healing for a similar issue, you may notice this image affecting you.
If you work with Tarot, you may be able to sense or figure out what this is about from your own knowledge and experience, whether or not you work with this particular Tarot.

The more I am busy working, the less I am finding time to write; but this one speaks for itself, direct from Spirit:
If your concern is any aspect of earth healing, meditate on this image, channel your love and healing through this image.
Joyberries: Eat a handful a day for a happy life
What are Joyberries?
Joyberries are delightfully round and a beautiful shade of pinky/red; their scent is so wonderful and reminiscent of all kinds of wonderful things. So much so, that one sniff of their scent can transport you immediately into happy memories of times, places and experiences special to you. Their taste, is like all the most delicious, sweet, juicy, ripe and wonderful things you’ve ever tasted, all somehow rolled up in one. Literally, a Joyberry is in every aspect like experiencing a burst of pure joy.
Where can I get some?
Joyberries are such delicious fruits, you’d think they’d be readily available, but unfortunately they are sometimes very hard to find. They are rarely available at your supermarket or in any other kind of shop, although they can sometimes be found there, and sometimes at local markets and farm shops.
If you have not heard of Joyberries before, or find it hard to get a supply in your area, here are two good ways to source a regular supply for yourself:
Growing your Own
The best time to sow your seeds is first thing in the morning the moment you wake up. You can check the weather outside first, if you wish, then think about 3 or 5 or 10 happy things, however small and simple. These are your seeds and you water and feed them with love, appreciation and gratitude.
During the day, you can think about them, and you can notice and remember other seeds you may want to plant in the evening or tomorrow morning. (They can also be planted last thing at night, in bed, before you go to sleep).
Pretty soon, you will wake up in the morning and there they will be, waiting for you, delicious and joyous, ready to enjoy!*
How to find these mysterious and sometimes elusive Joyberries
Joyberries are mysterious and sometimes elusive, so you may not find them right away. The best way to go about your search, is to think of it as a Quest. Determine you are going to search until you find some and keep going until you do.
Always ask for all and any help from a Higher Spiritual Source before you set out and as you journey on your way. Keep all your senses alert and notice any thoughts, sights, sounds and experiences that give you a happy feeling, as these are great clues and signs that you are on the right track. If you find yourself experiencing joy, you are definitely in the right spot – make sure you take note of where you are, what you are doing and what has caused these feelings. Gather up your Joyberries. (If they are only small, you can nurture and ripen them last thing at night, or first thing in the morning with love, appreciation and gratitude).
You can also ask people you meet along your way about where they find joy, as this will provide helpful clues for you to find out where Joyberries may be.
Good fortune on your quest! The main thing to remember, is that if you keep going, you will eventually find your own ripe and abundant Joyberries to enjoy every day of your life!
* Once you start growing your own, or finding and nurturing some, you may find that other people unexpectedly start giving you some Joyberries. You may also find that you have such a plentiful harvest of them, that you can happily share some with others in your turn.
I find the Tarot works very well when someone is stuck in patterns of behaviour, wants to make changes, but can’t find their way forward.
Tarot loves complexity and addresses every part and level of such patterns, creating energy shifts which filter through levels of thinking and acting, resulting in effortless change.
Things are just different and the client finds themselves freer to respond and act in new, more resourceful and healthier ways.
If you happen to be affected by a similar pattern to the client for whom this layout was created, you will respond to this image, even though the cards are not especially clear to see.
Such a layout stays in place until the work is done, which may take anything from 15 minutes to several days. In this case, these cards remained active for about a week before everything quietened down and the work was finished. There was an interesting phase around days 2 to 4 when the cards became very much alive, 3-dimensional and the doorways into them became very obvious to see.
The client noticed changes in thinking and feelings immediately, but could not put anything definite into words – and did not want to do so. On checking a few days later, my client had noticed a number of definite and positive changes and these were well integrated in behaviour by the time the layout seemed to “switch off” and the cards could be moved.

I woke around 4am with the weather so stormy today! Wild winds and rain gusting around the house. At first I dance with the storm, but it is too wild and throws me around.
I am with the weather. Not trying to change or calm anything. Simply witnessing – we have done more than enough interfering.
The Earth is doing what she needs: The weather, the climate changes: everything is happening as it must.
As I write, the storm whips up more furiously. Rain lashes the ground.
It is now 6am*. I did sleep for a short while and dreamed there was a leak in St John’s House, in the corner of one room, water streaming down the wall.
Then, as I watched, I noticed it dripping through other parts of the ceiling.
We had people there, milling about. Maybe we were running a course. I went to find Phil.
Passing through other rooms, rain was coming through everywhere.
I went to another floor: water was pouring through all parts of the ceiling and wallpaper falling off the wall. Everything was soaked; plaster giving way.
Phil and I stood in one of the main rooms, water raining down around us. The face of a big ornate clock on the mantelpiece fell off.
I partially woke up, exhausted; then, as I fell back towards sleep, I heard Phil’s voice saying to me “Jerry Owl’s shed door is wide open.”
I was wide awake in a moment, thinking “should I get out of bed, look into the garden and check?” I was afraid for him – if the door is open cats or foxes or whatever could get to him.
No. These are just fears. I trust everything is fine.
But then this comes to me as important to write and share, so I get up and I do check anyway and his door is closed. And I write to you.
* When I went back to bed I found it was actually 20 to 9am.
I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions. These are my Promises to my self for this year:
I will take care of myself
I will make life easier
I will live in the flow
I will shed things, people, places and activities that de-energise me
I will embrace things, people, places and activities that energise me
Whatever else happens, I am choosing and creating the world I wish to live in, according to my values and principles. Time, energy and resources are precious and I Intend to spend them wisely and well, without compromise or acceptance of what is less than 100% positive. This year I intend to find out whether it is possible to fully create the world I want to live in and this is where you will find me.

Spirit of the changing times, Spirit of 2012:
What do you want from me?
What do I want from you?
Where are we journeying in this year of change and what is my part within this flow?
Waking on January 1st with these thoughts in mind, I sense the energy of the day, the energies of this dawning year. It is not yet awake. I feel it really begins on January 23rd with the Chinese New Year.
We celebrated one New Year already on December 21st. This winter solstice was a strong one, a real beginning. New Year January 1st feels very quiet – but was very turbulent yesterday, building through the day and unsettled during the night.
So. I will wait and see. I have asked my questions, and will spend some time today on my personal thoughts and Intentions for this year and see. My thoughts are that perhaps part of this will be sharing a Shamanic Year ‘out loud’ – writing things here, so that those who want to know can read them, reflect on them and apply what is useful to their own lives.
